The GIFT program is
spread approximately over 20 months, from 19th September, 2011 to 31th
May, 2013. The length of training in host countries is one week.
Mobility will be a (not informal), structured learning path organized in one or more units of learning outcomes referring to one or more existing qualifiers.
The planned activities during the stay are as follows:
* Implementation of the learning process designed for each mobility
* Evaluation of the results achieved by the learner, that is the acquisition of the units of the LO object of experience
* Documentation of the acquisition of units of LO in order to support the validation and recognition,
* Documentation of the evaluation process.
Activities common to all the mobility:
Activities of ‘induction’ on the first day of the stay in order to allow beneficiaries to have a short language and cultural training, a first contact and exchange with the socio-cultural environment and the geographical area where they are hosted. Skype meetings will give the necessary support to solve any problems.
Visits to professional institutions in host countries to meet the agencies operating in the territory identified on the themes of the training.
Start of the training program with visits to training places accompanied by the responsible of the host partner in order to meet the staff and see the structure;
Job Shadowing’ activities, observation of teaching practice and training in situations, in particular on CLIL and the use of ICT
Sharing knowledge and good practice in self-training sessions and training in institutional settings
Training and education in situations on the pedagogical use of Web 2.0 technologies
Training and education in situations on CLIL English units
Session to review experience at the end of the period of training to ensure consistency between the requirements and provisions (expected outcomes).
